Liz Jackson’s Protein Pancakes

Post Workout Pancakes, chased down with NutraBio Whey Protein Isolate!

Directions:

  1. Throw 100 calorie maple and brown sugar in coffee grinder with 1/2 tsp baking powder, dash of salt, cinnamon if you like it.  Grind together until it is like flour.
  2. In a small bowl add 1/16 (a heaping cap full) of egg substitute and 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk, dash of vanilla extract (optional), squirt of stevia (optional).
  3. Mix the two and set in fridge for around 10 minutes.
  4. Heat your pan, stir your mix (it should have thickened) and make your cakes!

  1. confused… I thought this was a whey protein recipe… one would think it would contain that… also, what is “100 calorie maple and brown sugar?” Am I to believe that this is made from egg substitute and sugar, or is this just the name of some other product?
