Team NutraBio’s UFC fighter Jimmie Rivera wins big at UFC Brazil 

Jimmie Rivera faced bantamweight Pedro Munhoz (11-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 77, which took place at Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Rivera beat Munhoz in a split decision after 3 rounds bringing Rivera’s record to 18-1 in MMA overall and 2-0 in the UFC. Rivera tells MMAJunkie, “Fighting is my second passion, my first passion is actually teaching. I have a school in (New York City). I’m a big family man. I spend time hanging out with my family and friends. Training as a kid at Tiger Schulmann’s took my competition to the next level. When you’re good at something you want to take it further and further. That’s what happened. But my first passion was always teaching and then fighting from there. It’s going really well, I can’t complain.”
