If you’ve ever been to one of our BioCrew meetups you know there’s nothing quite like that energy when the whole NutraBio team gets together. Our first meet-up of 2023 was even more special than normal as we joined the Reps for Responders team for a group workout at Iron Culture Gym in an effort to give back to our local community. All day passes purchased during the event were donated to the organization in support of First Responders, for over $1400 in total donations.
This was only our second fitness event held in partnership with the Reps for Responders organization but it certainly will not be our last. The moment we walked in, we could feel the positivity and sense of community in the gym. The Reps for Responders organization founded by former Law Enforcement Officer, Frank Voce, is dedicated to improving the physical and emotional survivability skills, mental health, and well-being of First Responders and the military.
In addition to hosting regular fitness meet-ups at local gyms, Reps for Responders provides real-life support to active, retired, and volunteer First Responders and Military personnel. They host weekly Responder Talk calls, sponsor nutrition and health coaching, sponsor gym memberships, and provide recovery coaching to their members and community.
At NutraBio we have a longstanding history of supporting First Responders and we were thrilled to be a part of this event. Some of you may remember our First Response Initiative launched in 2020. We designed First Response as an immune support supplement for those on the front lines of a global healthcare crisis and donated over 13,000 units to first responders, healthcare practitioners, and military personnel. We were able to bring additional units to donate to First Responders who came to Saturday’s event.
Altogether, our first BioCrew meetup of 2023 was a huge success. Together with Iron Culture, the Reps for Responders team, and the other vendors at the event, we’re proud to have helped raise over $1400 to support the Reps for Responders organization.
If you missed last Saturday’s meet-up, sign up for BioCrew now to be notified of the next one!
